Renfrew County Real Estate Board MLS® housing market continues hot streak in February as sales and prices hit new record
It was another record month for home sales in Renfrew County.
The Renfrew County Real Estate Board (RCREB) says 141 units sold last month (February 2021), setting a new record.
The local real estate board says average price of homes sold in February of 2021 was a record $349,760, up 26.3% from the same time last year.
The RCREB says there was a 27.8% increase in the number of new listings from February of 2020 to February 2021, but active residential listings are down substantially seeing a decline of 58.3%.
The Renfrew County Real Estate Board says active listings haven’t been this low in the month of February in more than 15 years.
Months of inventory numbered 1.4 at the end of February 2021. The number of months of inventory is the number of months it would take to sell current inventories at the current rate of sales activity.
