Members of the Renfrew Detachment of the OPP are asking for anyone with information about an armed robbery in Arnprior last week.
Media Relations Officer Amanda Carruthers relates what took place.
Officers were called to a residence, and were told that the disguised individual got out of the passenger-side door of a vehicle while holding a suspected firearm, demanding the victim’s wallet.
The suspect then got back into the car and the driver/accomplice, who is also unknown, fled the scene.
The robber is described as being a man between the ages of 20 and 30.
He is about 5’10” with dark hair and wearing a black bandana-style face covering.
The vehicle is a grey-blue Hyundai hatchback with pink duct tape on the front bumper.
There were no injuries and police believe there is no danger to the public.
