Arnprior has held its first drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination clinic for healthcare workers in the community.
The event took place Thursday (March 4th) and attendees coincided with Ministry of Health priority sequencing.
It was held in the Arnprior District High School parking lot.
112 healthcare workers – including physicians, family health team staff, dentists and dental staff, pharmacists and pharmacy techs, paramedics, and other healthcare providers as well as some members of the OPP were included.
Additional clinics are planned over the next week to complete this priority group.
The clinic was a trial run for the proposed centralized online booking system to be used within Renfrew County and District.
As target groups are reprioritized when additional vaccines arrive, they will be notified in a number of different ways.
