Another 11 COVID-19 cases were reported by the Renfrew County and District Health Unit over the weekend. With 3 additional cases listed as resolved since Friday (February 26th, 2021), that leaves 32-active cases. The last detailed update from the health unit showed two people in hospital with one of them in intensive care. A spike in cases in the Arnprior area has impacted 6 businesses with almost 40 high-risk contacts. There’s also a resident outbreak at Miramichi Lodge in Pembroke with 3 seniors who have tested positive for the virus and are in the long-term care homes isolation unit.
