With 10-15cm of snow in the forecast today for the northern part of Renfrew County, the Renfrew County Joint Transportation Consortium has cancelled all school bus transportation in the Madawaska Area today. The schools in the area however remain open for staff and students. All other school buses in the Ottawa Valley are up and running this morning. Snow will begin this morning and continue until this evening. The heaviest snowfall is expected late morning and early afternoon. An Alberta Clipper will track across central Lake Huron on today bringing heavy snow. Accumulating snow will cause poor driving conditions, and impact travel.
