The Renfrew County and District Health Unit is reporting 3 new COVID-19 cases today. The case information from the local health unit shows one local resident currently in hospital in the intensive care unit. The RCDHU is aware of 11 active COVID-19 cases spread out across Arnprior, McNab/Braeside, Laurentian Valley, Pembroke and Madawaska Valley.
Miramichi Lodge long-term care home in Pembroke is in an active COVID-19 outbreak after a positive case in a resident. Valley Manor long-term care home in Barry’s Bay is also in an active COVID-19 outbreak after a staff case was reported.
