The Killaloe OPP has responded to a serious snowmobile collision.
Officers were called out for a single snowmobile collision around 1:10pm on Wednesday (February 17th) along the B-trail, near Brule Lake in Madawaska Valley.
The OPP says the 52-year-old lone operator from Norfolk County, was ejected from the snowmobile after losing control and striking a tree.
The operator was taken to hospital by ORNG Air ambulance with non-life threatening injuries and no charges have been laid.
Police remind operators to obey speed limit signs and road trail signs, always riding within your own ability. Reduce speeds when driving at night and watch for fences, guide wires, trees, and other objects at may be difficult to spot.
