Ontario Premier Doug Ford will announce details on easing COVID-19 restrictions next week.
The province’s current state of emergency is set to expire on Tuesday.
Ford and his cabinet were set to meet today to discuss the government’s options surrounding the emergency order.
The rate of infection in Ontario has been dropping steadily since reaching highs of over three-thousand new cases per day.
The province is reporting 16 hundred and 70 cases today but 125 of them are older infections from Toronto that weren’t previously recorded.
