Another postponement for both the Central Canada Hockey League and HEO U18.
Seasons are suspended until at least February 11th.
The news comes in a release from Commissioner Kevin Abrams, who cites current provincial policies as cause.
The commissioner indicates several options remain, depending on the date and conditions outlined by provincial and local authorities, but the objective of a season of meaningful programming still remains.
Goals expressed earlier remain intact for both Junior A and U18 players: to promote and advocate opportunities for those with potential to advance to the next levels of play.
The annual Bantam Protected Draft has been pushed to mid-March to allow for our 2006 Showcase Series to take place in the two weekends preceding it.
This is the projected but tentative timetable, pending the necessary local and provincial guidelines.
Pre-draft skating opportunities and post-draft programming for the selected players as well as free agents for the 21-22 season are still on the table.
