Ontario Community Infrastructure Funding (OCIF) allocations for 2021 have been announced by the Provincial Government.
Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke Member of Provincial Parliament John Yakabuski says cheques are being cut for twenty municipalities in the riding.
Among local highlights, Greater Madawaska receives 50 thousand dollars, McNab-Braeside will get 55,321 dollars, the Town of Arnprior, $571,467; the Town of Renfrew gets $842,742. Horton’s share is $85,090. LV is to receive $156,158; Madawaska Valley will get $177,671; NAW’s slice of the pie amounts to $197,882; Whitewater Region, $242,636; Bonnechere Valley, $267,355; Admaston-Bromley, $283,473 and the County of Renfrew, $1,357,505.
All-in-all, Yakabuski says $6,041,296 is being distributed throughout his constituency.
