A serving trustee on the Renfrew County Catholic District School Board has passed at age 73.
Marlene Marian Borutski (nee Cashubec) passed away on January 8th at Renfrew Victoria Hospital.
A native of Killaloe, Borutski served with the RCCDSB for 32 years up to her passing.
She was also very active in parish activities at St. Casimir’s in Round Lake Centre.
Marlene had a banking career spanning three decades in Killaloe, Round Lake Centre and in southern Ontario.
Borutski is mourned by her spouse of 51 years, Raymond as well as children and siblings, with their families.
The Zohr Family Funeral Home in Killaloe advises current COVID restrictions limit the funeral to a private family gathering.
A celebration of Marlene’s life will be held at a later date.
