Parking at the Eagles Nest Trail is on the agenda tomorrow (January 12th, 2020) when the County of Renfrew operations meets.
The Township of Greater Madawaska is looking to add parking at the Eagles Nest Trail and plans to submit a grant application for a parking lot along Calabogie Road (County Road 508).
The Director of Public Works for the County of Renfrew Lee Perkins supports the creation of a parking lot at the Eagles Nest Trailhead.
He says this will provide a safe location for motorists to park off of a busy road and adds a solar powered pedestrian light has recently been installed in the area.
The item will be presented as information to the County of Renfrew operations committee.
