Arnprior’s skate park facility, near the Nick Smith Centre, could use a little T-L-C, and so far over 500 people agree.
Rec Director Graeme Ivory has seen the petition, but organizers have not yet presented it to Council.
He says as the Town is in the middle of its budget discussions, the petition is timely.
Ivory says even the present site might not be written in stone, but an whole new skate park doesn’t come cheaply.
Ivory says the addition of a service club that would take on the skate park project to the mix would be a big step in moving the idea forward.
