Killaloe OPP is reminding all drivers to not park on the streets and highways during the winter months. The Ontario Highway Traffic Act states that it is an offence to park a vehicle on a highway in such a manner as to interfere with clearing of snow from the highway. In addition to a fine of up to $100, towing costs and storage fees may be applicable.
