An additional three cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Renfrew County and District over the past three days.
Information from the Renfrew County and District Health Unit shows one of the new cases is a Pembroke resident and the other two are from Laurentian Valley.
The RCDHU case summary shows a student has tested positive for the virus and two additional community members.
Yesterday (December 22nd), a staff and student case were reported at Valour School in Petawawa and Champlain Discovery School in Pembroke.
Going forward the local health unit will only release information on the location of new COVID-19 cases in Renfrew County twice a week.
There’s 15 active cases spread out across Arnprior, Laurentian Valley, Pembroke, Petawawa and Whitewater Region.
The RCDHU does not identify the exact number of cases in each community when there is less than five active cases to protect the privacy of those living with COVID-19.
