Renfrew OPP have laid an additional assault charge stemming from a case back on October 27th. You’ll recall that officers responded to a call on Raglan Street South, where a person had fallen down the stairs. An 18-year-old male was later transported to hospital with serious injuries. A few days later, 21-year-old Logan O’Brien was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, obstruct a peace officer and two counts of failure to comply with release order. Police have also now charged O’Brien with criminal negligence causing bodily harm.
