Killaloe OPP are seeking information about a reported hit-and-run that occurred the afternoon of December 3rd.
A 21 year-old woman was struck by a vehicle in the Barry’s Bay area of Madawaska Valley Township.
She made her own way to hospital, and reported the incident to police that evening.
The victim indicated to police that she had been walking along the roadway when she was struck from behind. She suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and had made her own way to the hospital for treatment.
The vehicle is described as a blue or grey pick-up truck, with large tires and possibly over-sized mirrors.
The truck will have had damage to its passenger’s side mirror.
