The County of Renfrew has appointed an acting Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for 2021.
At the County Council meeting on November 25th, Director of Finance Treasurer Jeffrey Foss was named acting CAO for the upcoming year.
Foss will fill in for the role in case the current CAO Paul Morreau is absent.
For the past two to three years the Director of Long-Term Care for the County of Renfrew Shelley Sheedy has served as the acting CAO.
As acting CAO, Sheedy assisted the county through a tornado, a flood and most recently a global pandemic.
Foss thanked staff and council for the confidence they’ve placed in him for the upcoming year.
The acting CAO position is from January 1st, 2021 to December 31st, 2021.
