Renfrew’s lights are costing the town too much money, Reeve Peter says it’s time to replace them with LEDs.
He says the cost savings will pay for the 600 thousand dollar project in five and a half years, not to mention reduce operating costs year over year. Of the 1400 bulbs to be replaced, 400 are completed. The work is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
