Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) is now reporting the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases linked to a workplace outbreak is up to nine.
CNL says they are working closely with health officials and have extensive workplace measures in place to mitigate the transmission of COVID-19 and protect the health and safety of its workers, contractors and visitors.
The information bulletin is part of CNL’s ongoing commitment to voluntary public disclosure of events related to the Chalk River Laboratories .
CNL says employees who work in affected work areas have been sent home and a full disinfection of the spaces is being completed.
