The Renfrew Fire Department is helping make sure local kids can get their letters to Santa and helping the food bank at the same time.
Renfrew Fire Chief and Community Emergency Management Coordinator Kevin Welsh says Santa will be lifted up in a fire truck so he can wave to children from a distance.
The fire department is partnering with local Canada Post workers for the upcoming event.
The Renfrew Fire Chief says they are also accepting donations for the food bank.
Welsh says you can drive-by the fire hall between 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm on December 5th to see Santa in person.
Letters to Santa and donations to the Renfrew Food Bank can be dropped off at the fire hall leading up to the event.
