The Renfrew County and District Health Unit is monitoring outbreaks at three local long-term care homes.
Marianhill in Pembroke announced over the weekend that a staff member had tested positive for COVID-19. The individual is not considered to have had any high risk exposure with residents or staff.
Last week a staff member at the Grove Nursing Home in Arnprior tested positive for the virus. This individual was rested with the second test coming back negative, however the home remains in outbreak status.
This afternoon the RCDHU confirmed Groves Park Lodge in Renfrew is also in an outbreak status. At this point in time it’s not known how many cases are being reported at the long-term care home in Renfrew.
