A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at Marianhill long-term care home in Pembroke.
The case involves a staff member and is a result of regular surveillance testing.
Marianhill CEO Lindy Tracy says the staff member has had no high risk exposure or contact with any staff or resident.
Tracy adds as a result of this outbreak they are increasing cleaning protocols, and maintaining heightened processes and protocols relevant to resident visits.
