Extended business hours continue in the town of Renfrew. The original extension lapsed September 6th. Renfrew Clerk Kim Bulmer says both No Frills and Walmart requested the extended hours continue.
Bulmer says the Economic Development and Tourism committe may revist the hours bylaw, to see if it’s still relevant.
There was one anonymous letter on record objecting to the continued extension of hours, an employee who spoke to the negative impact it had on their life. Council considered the objection during deliberations.
