UPDATE
**One new case confirmed in the Pembroke area and two in the Renfrew area. All eight active cases in self-isolation**
The Renfrew County and District Health Unit is reporting an increase in three cases of COVID-19 over the weekend for a total of 75 confirmed cases of the virus.
The province is reporting a slightly higher number with Public Health Ontario confirming 79 cases in Renfrew County and District.
The information from the local health unit shows 8 additional cases listed as resolved.
With 66 cases now listed as resolved and one death the RCDHU is aware of 8 active cases.
The status of the new cases and location will be released once the health unit shares the case summary.
