The OPP says six victims have been identified in a sexual assault and rape case against an 86-year-old lifelong Pembroke resident.
The offences took place between the 1950’s and 2020 in the Renfrew County area.
The 86-year-old man has been charged 13 counts including:
- Two counts of sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age
- Three counts of indecent assault on a female
- Two counts of sexual interference
- Three counts of sexual assault
- Rape
- Invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age
- Sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 14 years
The name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the victims.
The accused was released and had a first court appearance yesterday (October 6th) in Pembroke.
A second court date has been set in November.
