A shutdown of area DriveTest locations for several months due to the pandemic isn’t making it easy to book a road test to get your licence.
Tell that to the company that employs 50 thousand people worldwide- 8 thousand of those in North America alone.
Among the global giant Serco’s 500 contracts is the Renfrew DriveTest location- which is offering road tests, while, according to InsideOttawaValley.com the Arnprior and Carleton Place DriveTest locations are currently not doing so.
The Renfrew DriveTest location at 115 Plaunt Street South is listed as a “travel point” and IS offering road tests.
Things may get even more difficult when, starting in November, the Drive Test Renfrew location will be open on Mondays and Tuesdays only- between the hours of 9AM and 1PM and 2-5PM in the afternoon.
The alternative?
Try your luck booking road tests at DriveTest locations in Pembroke or Ottawa.
