How do you rescue a horse from a horse trailer?

For a story that’s not as odd as it might seem, myFM went straight to the horses’s mouth- and spoke with Fire Chief, Guy Longtin.
The incident happened Sunday morning in the Township.
Longtin says his crews were able to calm the animal down, cutting the chest bar away and liberating the horse.
The incident, near the intersection of Highway 17 and Dixon Street in Cobden, was well documented,
and is featured on the Whitewater Region Fire Department Facebook Page.
