The Renfrew County District School Board has notified families that an individual at Fellowes High School in Pembroke has tested positive for COVID-19.
Communications Manager Jonathan Laderoute tells myFM the individual is self-isolating and the local health unit is taking the lead on contact tracing.
At this time Fellowes remains open for in person learning.
The school board says all students directed to self-isolated will be supported in maintaining school work.
The Renfrew County and District Health Unit is currently aware of four active cases.
