A fire at the Rocky Mountain House in Renfrew is not being treated as suspicious. Chief Kevin Welsh says crews were called to the restaurant around 9:30 pm last night (Sept. 10th) and were able to contain the blaze to the kitchen area.
The Renfrew Fire Chief credits the quick action of nearby residents for calling in the incident.
Welsh says crews spent about 45 minutes on site before extinguishing the blaze.
No injuries are being reported.
