A new COVID regional alert system in Quebec is in place, and the Public Health Department of the CISSS de l’Outaouais is issuing an early warning following an increase in the number of cases locally.
For the moment, no new restrictions apply in connection with this alert level.
Public Health is asking for everyone’s continued vigilance regarding hygiene, physical distancing and the
limiting of individual contacts.
The virus is circulating in the community.
The protective drill should be well-familiar by now- but in case you’ve forgotten or become lax:
Wear a face cover in enclosed or partially covered public places.
Maintain a physical distance of 2 meters from others.
Limit your contacts to 10 people from a maximum of 3 households.
Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are unavailable.
Cover your mouth and nose with your arm while sneezing and wash your hands afterwards.
Stay home if you have symptoms related to Covid-19 and get tested.
