A local licensed child care centre Director says the COVID-19 protocols have been a smooth transition since reopening. Valeda Steinburg, the Director at Wise Owl Daycare Centre says she’s confident the systems will work when children go back to school next week. She says the children’s reaction to being back to somewhat normality has made the process fairly easy.
The Director says in all of their programs, educators have been working with the children about the importance of handwashing, mask-wearing, and physical distancing. All aspects will be beneficial to when school returns.
