Students in Quebec are back in the classroom this week and therefore police are sending out a reminder for drivers to be mindful on the road.
You are reminded to obey posted speed limits.
In a school zone, from Monday to Friday and from September to June, the speed limit cannot exceed 50 km/h between 7AM and 5PM.
The fine will be doubled if the offense is committed within the specified period. Also, respect signage around schools when it comes to buses.
