The Whitewater Bromley Community Health Centre was the subject of some provincial government funding on Monday. MPP for Renfrew-Nippissing-Pembroke John Yakabuski was on hand.
Brenda Powers Ross, Director of the Whitewater Bromley CHC, noted that a new team of primary care providers will go a long way toward addressing the shortfall in primary care services in the area. It should also greatly reduce pressure in our local hospitals. Yakabuski says this funding is not a one-off. He says this money has been added to the funding formula for the facility for many years to come.
