The Pembroke and Area Airport is hosting a brand new event in hopes of raising some cash for their Project Runway campaign. Communications Coordinator for the airport Jennifer Layman has the details.
A Night Walk at the Pembroke and Area Airport will be held on September 2nd. The cost to attend is $20 per person or $10 for children aged 0-12. Walkers must register in advance and choose a walking time. Project Runway is a campaign to raise $1.25 million to repave the runway at the airport, which was last paved in 1968.
