All public and Catholic schools in Renfrew County will reopen Tuesday, September 8th.
Elementary and secondary students will be able to return to class full time next month, but parents will have the choice if they want to keep their children home.
The Renfrew County Catholic District School Board (RCCDSB) has an online survey for parents and guardians to let staff know what your plans are for September.
The Renfrew County District School Board (RCDSB) says schools are able to return to a five day weekly schedule because the size of the board has been deemed not predominantly urban.
More details from the public and Catholic school boards are expected to be released in the coming days and weeks as they continue to prepare for a return to class.
Students in Grades 4 to 12 will be required to wear masks or face coverings when they return to school.
