It’s been almost a week with no active cases in Renfrew County and District.
The local health unit marked the last active case as resolved on Wednesday, July 15th.
As of this afternoon (Monday, July 20th), the Renfrew County and District Health Unit says a total of 16,799 tests have been completed with 27 confirmed cases, 26 resolved and one death.
The mandatory mask directive remains in effect requiring everyone to wear a face mask or covering when inside public spaces. Exceptions include those unable to wear a mask due to medical conditions, children under two and if you’re not able to take the mask off on your own.
COVID-19 testing continues to be available for local residents. On Tuesday, the Renfrew County Virtual Triage and Assessment Centre (RCVTAC) will be set up in Arnprior in the morning and Renfrew in the afternoon.
Residents in Pembroke can get tested for COVID-19 on Wednesday and those in the Petawawa, Deep River, Eganville and Barry’s Bay areas can get tested on Friday.
