On Wednesday June 24th, the Renfrew County Crime unit began an investigation into allegations of inappropriate illicit activity.
As a result of their investigation, Braedon Kauffeldt, 22 years old, of Greater Madawaska Township has been charged with three counts of Sexual interference, three counts of Invitation to sexual touching of a person under 16 years of age, Transmitting sexually explicit material to a person under 16 years of age, Luring a person under 16 years of age by means of telecommunication and Indecent exposure to a person under 16 years of age.
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew on September 16, 2020.
