The OPP has identified the body pulled from the Ottawa River.
On June 17th human remains were located in the Ottawa River just offshore from Mountainview Drive in Pembroke.
The remains have since been identified as that of Tyson Yakabuskie (Lemaire). Yakabuskie (Lemaire) was reported missing on November 11, 2019.
He was 17 years old at the time of his disappearance. The cause of death is not known at the present time, but remains under investigation by the Coroner’s Office.
The Investigation into the circumstances of his disappearance also remain under investigation by the OPP, under the direction of the Criminal Investigation Branch.
