The Canadian Cancer Society is getting creative when it comes to Relay for Life this year. Due to COVID-19, the annual gathering in June to raise money in the fight against cancer has been put off nationwide. Instead, you can now sign up and enjoy Relay at Home this Saturday night. Senior Manager with the Canadian Cancer Society, Gerry Salisbury gives a taste of what to expect.
The Relay At Home virtual experience will be live-streamed on June 13th at 7pm on the Canadian Cancer Society Facebook Page, YouTube, and relayforlife.ca. Donations can still be made online as well. Across Canada, the Cancer Society has a fundraising goal of $4 million.
