As businesses in Ontario start to reopen, Premier Doug Ford says they won’t hesitate to roll things back if there’s surges or flare ups in new COVID-19 cases.
Ford says the best defence against COVID-19 remains physical distancing and he encourages you to wear a mask when distancing isn’t possible.
Anyone traveling on public transit should use a fask mask, unless you are under 2-years-old, or have breathing difficulties. Medical masks should be reserved for front line workers. Ford says restrictions on social gatherings will remain the same.
