Golf Courses have been allowed to open, as the Premier has eased some of the Emergency Restrictions- just in time for the long weekend.
Chris Needham, of Dragonfly Links says there are some new requirements in place that respect the COVID crisis.
The proprietor says prepayment is a requirement, and you may have to create an account if you don’t have one.
Groups should arrive no sooner than twenty minutes before tee-off, designate one representative, and a greeter will meet you in the parking lot.
Because of demand, if you don’t want to be matched in a foursome, pay the foursome price and proceed.
The Province is mandating one rider per golf cart, and no more than two carts per foursome.
As soon as you reach the first pin, you will notice the cups are shallower- so no one has to reach in to retrieve their balls.
Needham says it’s a good idea to familiarize yourself with all the changes in advance, and they are posted on the Dragonfly Links website.
