Ontario has extended the state of emergency until June 2nd. Premier Doug Ford says while we’ve made progress in the fight against COVID-19 we still have a ways to go. Ford says on Thursday (May 14th) they will announce the next steps for workplaces in Ontario to reopen.
Ford says they now have over 80 workplace safety guidelines to help keep staff and customers safe. He adds they are talking with job creators to get input on which barriers they need to remove to ensure businesses can succeed in this new environment.
