COVID-19 has made it it’s way to Bonnechere Manor. According to the County of Renfrew, up until May 4th, testing had been restricted to people with COVID symptoms. However, with the increased swab and lab capacity, the Home, with the assistance of County of Renfrew paramedics, implemented surveillance testing of all residents and staff this past week. Warden of the County Debbie Robinson says the employee has no symptoms and is now isolated at their home to prevent the spread of infection to others. Residents and staff that were in contact with the staff member have been notified and infection management practices and procedures remain in place.
