The YouTube views of Arnprior Grove residents’ version of Jason McCoy’s We Are One World song are rising hourly- and perhaps even more so once you hear that the seniors at the Grove were the first in the world among seniors residences to take up the singer-songwriters challenge.
That’s Michaela McClymont, Community and Recreation Services Coordinator with Arnprior Regional Health.
McClymont, along with Recreation Assistant Kara Pretty, were involved in the labour of love.
Kara says video editing is a challenge with its own rewards.
Another aspect of the presentation is that it shows friends and relations kept apart by social distancing concerns that their loved ones inside the Grove are doing well- and missing them just as much.
