Kirby Morrison is a single dad of two school age boys. He was born in Renfrew and raised in Renfrew, and though he moved to Sudbury for a short stint, he returned to the Valley and made Horton Township his home for a number of years. It was during that time he joined the local fire department and has been a fire fighter for the past 10 years. His past work history has been varied and colourful, including working for the BIA as a teenager, and driving truck for the Beer Store, but now he works in sales for WO Stinson, in their Pembroke office.
Kirby moved back into Renfrew a couple of years ago and he hopes to make community connections in his home town, but heʼs never severed ties with Horton and remains actively involved with the department. Heʼs often seen at events on behalf of the fire department and works hard along side his fellow fire fighters to bring the Haunted Horton Fire Hall to life every Halloweʼen.
