Testing for COVID-19 across Renfrew County and district has doubled up over the last 24-hours.
The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) says 44 tests have been completed compared to the 20 tests done the day before. The new numbers released from the health unit show no new cases in our area today. Another 59 test results are still pending with a total of 15 confirmed cases, 10 considered resolved and one death.
Across Ontario 525 new cases are being reported including 59 deaths. The province has said they will be looking for consistent two to four week decreases in the number of new cases before they start the first stage of reopening.
