For the first time in almost two weeks the Renfrew County and District Health Unit has confirmed a new case of COVID-19. On Sunday (April 26th) the health unit said a 15th person in the area had tested positive.
The numbers released at noon today (April 27th) show a decrease in testing with only 20 tests completed over the past 24-hours compared to the 100 plus tests that were done in one day late last week. The health unit says 10 of the 15 cases are considered resolved with one death and 59 test results still pending.
Almost 95% of testsĀ for COVID-19 (1359 of 1433) across Renfrew County and District have come back negative.
