It’s been a week with no new COVID-19 cases reported in Renfrew County and District. The last confirmed case of COVID-19 reported by the Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) was over the Easter long weekend.
In the past 24-hours the local health unit says an additional 41 people have been tested with 35 negative results and another six results pending. The RCDHU says a total of 1,046 people have been tested with 14 confirmed cases, one death and 171 test results still pending.
While no new cases have been reported recently in Renfrew County, Ontario is showing the largest single day increase since the outbreak began with 606 new cases and 31 more deaths.
