Just because there’s no diagonal yellow-and-black turtle-crossing sign beside the highway it doesn’t mean turtles aren’t trying to get across.
Less highway traffic this year will likely mean fewer vehicle-turtle collisions.

He says this is the particular time of year we should be concerned with turtle conservation and betterment.
Ellerback says if you are relocating a turtle off the 417, make sure you move it in the direction it was heading.
